its really funny how like, pikachu has been the obvious moneymaker for pokemon throughout its history, and they’ve tried to replicate this without success ever since. trying each gen to hit on that perfect mascot formula
and finally after a series of unsuccessful and generally unmemorable clumsy pikachu ripoffs, nintendo comes out with a pokemon… whose entire concept is boldfacedly, ‘clumsy pikachu ripoff’
like two centuries ago i started working on Higure with @the-fortune-arcana Touken Ranbu OC, tomoe gozen’s naginata, big & delicate dude. i’ve been closer to finish the ‘sprites’ ever since and i felt like a tiny peek could maybe interest some ;:)
also along with the sprites from kochei i’m working on his personality and when she’ll reveal the full sprites, i’ll reveal his fake wikia page as well as diverse tid-bits of informations about him, such as his unit, relationships with others toudans and history in general.
